Best tossed shredded chicken, salad ever tao tao beef honey walnut prawns press duck are my go to every time. Love this place been coming here for years.. I don't care that I have to drive to Sunnyvale from Fremont it's worth it and sometimes in the summertime you get music out on the road on Saturday nights. It's awesome highly recommend go with your family share the bill and get lots of food. Try lots of stuff it'll be worth it.
We went this past Sunday. I've been going since this place opened in n the 70's. Yes, Tao Tao Beef and the Shredded Chicken Salad are a must. The mustard with the salad is great (alas they make their own and you can't buy a bottle of it). Service when we went was very good, efficient. Love this place.
Tao Tao delivers the old fashioned American/Chinese food. It is quality in every bite. Back in the day it wasn't all about noodles and or fried rice making up bulk of meal. That's the new way in most places. This is really more like Ming's or excellent days of old Chinese food. They have their famous Chinese chicken salad as well!
Finally quenched my craving for Tao Tao Beef again! It's amazingly tasty and also unique compared to the standard beef dish. Served on a bed of rice noodles, the meat was perfectly cooked and had a nice amount of sauce. I got the holiday special $22 for egg drop soup, chicken salad, egg roll, wonton chips, chow mein, sautéed green beans, hot tea, and Tao Tao Beef! A fantastic value for the money in a great atmosphere with exceptional service. The chicken salad is my second favorite thing here . My daughter had the Sweet and Sour Pork special and enjoyed it all. Tao Tao has been one of my go to places for many years, never disappoints!

For our table of three, we ordered the Chicken Salad, BBQ Pork Ribs (large and meaty), Tao Tao Beef, and Honey Walnut Prawns. Since we were catching up with an old friend, we had a relaxed three hour lunch with no one rushing us out. Everything was as good as I remembered and everyone left satisfied. Service was attentive. Parking can be found at the mall across the street if all else fails. With a Yelp check-in, you can get a free glass of house wine if your bill is over $40 and it's Monday through Thursday.
